Community               Colleges               are               all               around               us               and               they               offer               an               array               of               endless               possibilities               for               the               students.

The               choice               is               yours               as               to               where               you               go               and               how               far               you               are               willing               to               go               as               far               as               a               degree,               such               as               associates,               bachelors,               masters               or               Ph.D.

Certain               career               fields               are               also               requiring               a               minimum               level               of               either               a               bachelor's               degree               or               even               as               high               as               a               masters               degree               for               employers               to               even               look               at               you               in               today's               job               market.

There               are               many               colleges               out               there,               and               all               have               differences               deep               within               them.

There               are               five               top               community               colleges               to               examine               in               order               to               find               the               exact               school               for               you.

Camden               County               College               
               This               college               has               three               locations,               Blackwood               NJ,               Camden               NJ,               as               well               as               Cherry               Hill               NJ.

They               offer               an               assortment               of               programs               and               although               they               are               a               two               year               college,               they               offer               a               transfer               program               for               those               who               are               interested.

               Less               than               40               percent               of               the               students               that               attend               are               male               students               and               also               out               of               all               of               the               students,               less               than               50               percent               are               male               Camden               county               residents.

Over               60               percent               of               the               students               are               women               and               out               of               all               of               those               students,               over               50               percent               are               female               Camden               County               residents.

The               average               students               are               beginning               college               at               the               young               age               of               twenty               six               years               old.

Out               of               all               the               students               that               are               attending               the               college,               over               70               percent               are               residents               and               over               90               percent               are               NJ               residents.

Less               than               30               percent               of               students               are               directly               right               out               of               college.

You               would               think               that               most               of               the               college               students               would               be               attending               full               time,               but               in               reality,               there               are               only               a               little               over               half               of               the               student               enrollment               figures               are               full               time               and               a               little               under               half               are               part               time               students.
               In               the               fiscal               budget               year               of               2010,               it               was               $64,140,195.00               and               the               tuition               rates               differ               depending               on               the               location.

For               those               living               in               Camden               County               it               costs               $96               a               credit,               for               those               who               reside               out               of               Camden               county               it               costs               only               $100               a               credit               and               for               the               students               that               are               International,               they               pay               only               $170               a               credit.

There               are               options               also               such               as               hours               and               classes,               as               well               as               they               offer               online               courses.

Camden               County               College               has               been               ranked               one               of               the               nation's               largest               public               post-secondary               school               as               well               as               NJ's               second               largest               county               college.

               They               are               recognized               nationally               as               a               leader               in               technology               programs,               such               as               Video               Game               Design               and               Development               and               also               Photonics,               and               also               for               being               a               regional               vital               resource               for               transfer               education               and               cultural               events.

Recent               studies               have               shown,               from               federal               Dept.

of               Education,               that               they               ranked:               Top               5               for               Associate               Degrees               in               Education,               Top               50               for               Associate               Degrees               in               Nursing/Health               Professions,               Top               75               for               Associate               Degrees               completed               by               African               American               and               other               non-minority               students               and               ranked               Top               100               for               Community               Colleges.

Transfer               Programs:               These               Programs               are               designed               for               the               students               to               further               their               knowledge               regarding               their               major               and               so               they               only               offer               a               2               year               program               with               suggestions               towards               what               classes               to               take               to               transfer               to               another               school               .

               Rowan               University               (Formerly               known               as               Glassboro               University)               
               Rowan               University,               is               considered               a               middle               sized               public               university,               and               has               two               campus,               one               is               in               Glassboro               and               the               other               is               located               in               Camden               NJ.

They               have               been               reported               inside               the               magazine,               US               News               &               World               Report,               as               having               ranked               23rd               of               the               Northern               Regional               Universities               and               also               3rd               among               the               public               colleges.

It               also               ranked               22nd               nationally               in               their               college               of               engineering               category.

Their               statistics               prove               that               they               are               a               serious               college               for               learning               and               are               being               recognized               in               Forbes               in               a               yearly               listing               of               America's               Best               Colleges.
               The               average               class               holds               a               minimum               number               of               twenty               students               and               the               student               to               faculty               ratio               is               a               small               size               of               fifteen               students               to               one               teacher.

All               students               are               taught               only               by               professors               in               Rowan.

For               those               students               that               are               interested               in               studying               abroad,               there               are               two               hundred               study               abroad               programs               in               over               thirty               countries.

There               are               over               sixty               computer               labs,               120               technology               classrooms,               and               over               half               of               the               classrooms               are               technologically               enabled.

Wireless               internet               is               available               inside               the               buildings               on               campus               and               outside               as               well,               allowing               students               to               sit               outside               in               between               classes               and               still               have               the               internet.

The               percentage               of               faculty               that               actually               hold               a               doctorate               degree               is               over               90               percent.

There               are               9,918               under               graduates               and               1,474               graduates               from               the               MidAtlantic               States               and               thirty               foreign               countries.

Only               22               percent               of               the               students               that               are               enrolled               are               categorized               as               minority               and               the               average               student               that               comes               right               from               high               school               is               in               the               top               20               percent               of               their               class.

The               average               SAT               I               score               is               a               571               in               reading               and               602               in               mathematics.
               Rowan               awarded               in               2009,               2,047               undergraduate               students               with               a               degree               as               well               as               329               Graduate               students.

               There               are               over               seven               thousand               students               that               attend               Rowan               that               received               assistance               in               the               fall               of               2010.

The               break               down               goes               as               follows               for               those               figures,               at               least               $110               million               was               awarded               out               of               that               there               were               $89               million               was               awarded               in               loans,               $24               million               were               awarded               in               grants               and               $5.8               million               was               awarded               in               scholarships.

It               is               always               important               to               fill               out               a               Fafsa               (Free               Application               for               Federal               Student               Aid)               every               year               around               tax               time               to               see               what               you               may               qualify               for               federally               and               then               go               to               other               forms               of               financial               aid.


               Rutgers               -               The               State               University               of               NJ               
               Rutgers,               is               located               in               three               branches,               New               Brunswick               NJ,               Newark               NJ,               and               Camden               NJ.

Every               campus               is               different               with               statistical               information,               because               every               city/neighborhood               has               different               socioeconomic               groups.

Rutgers               has               an               upside,               no               matter               where               you               intend               on               attending               classes,               you               only               need               to               put               in               an               application               at               one               campus               and               it               will               affect               all               three.

There               are               over               100               majors               at               this               college               and               more               than               50,000               students               choose               Rutgers               for               their               education.

There               are               12               schools               located               on               the               New               Brunswick               campus               that               students               go               to               for               various               degrees.

Three               of               the               twelve               programs               are               listed               below               for               you               to               look               at.
               School               of               Arts               and               Sciences               
               The               school               of               Arts               and               Sciences               is               for               undergraduates               and               there               are               16,207               full               and               part               time               students               that               attend               on               campus.

There               are               1,478               full               and               part               time               faculty               members               and               available               to               students               are               a               total               of               2               degrees               that               are               awarded,               they               are               the               Bachelor               of               Arts               (B.A.)               and               the               Bachelor               of               Science               (B.S.)               .

The               school               provides               core               classes               to               students               and               40               academic               programs               with               over               70               majors.

They               offer               the               freshman               students               to               study               with               senior               members               of               the               faculty               in,               Byrne               First               Year               Seminars.

They               offer               60               international               programs               with               over               30               countries               in               the               Rutgers               Study               Abroad               Program.
               School               of               Environmental               and               Biological               Sciences               
               This               program               offers               undergraduate               students               in               professional               and               preprofessional               programs               the               opportunity               to               focus               on               the               entire               biological               field.

There               are               3,314               full               and               part               time               students               and               356               full               and               part               time               faculty               members.

There               are               an               assortment               of               degrees               available               in               the               Bachelor               of               Science               major               such               as,               Agricultural               Science,               Biochemistry,               and               Microbiology.

Among               the               many               majors,               there               are               also               majors               in               the               Bachelor               of               Arts               program,               such               as               Biological               Sciences,               and               Chemistry.

There               are               25               majors               for               undergraduate               students               with               50               options               for               specialization.
               Rutgers               Business               School               -               Newark               and               New               Brunswick               
               There               are               six               satellite               locations               for               the               school               and               they               are               in               New               Jersey,               China               and               Singapore               and               2               main               campus               in               Newark               and               New               Brunswick.

There               are               4,               071               full               and               part               time               students               that               attend               on               both               of               the               campus               and               194               full               and               part               time               faculty               members.

There               are               six               majors               listed               under               the               Bachelor               of               Science               Degree               and               also               award               students               with               a               degree               in               Master               of               Business               Administration               (M.B.A.)               and               Master               of               Accountancy.

There               are               six               majors               that               are               only               offered               on               the               Newark               campus               and               they               are               Executive               M.B.A.,               M.B.A.

in               Professional               Accounting,               Master               of               Information               Technology,               Master               of               Quantitative               Finance,               Doctor               of               Philosophy               (Ph.D.),               and               Joint               M.B.A.

degrees               with               degrees               in               law               and               Medicine.

The               major               of               Doctor               of               Philosophy               (Ph.D.)               is               only               awarded               through               the               Graduate               school               in               Newark.
               Rutgers               Business               School               was               ranked               nationally               the               nation's               best               undergraduate               business               school               by               Businessweek               and               the               only               NJ               program               in               2009               "Best               UnderGraduate               Business               Schools"               list.

Rutgers               has               had               85               percent               of               students               receive               an               award               for               financial               aid               that               ranged               from               $500               to               $24,000               and               the               average               package               was               only               $17,700.

               The               University               of               Pennsylvania               
               There               are               a               total               of               21,203               full               time               students               and               3,804               part               time               students               that               attend               The               University               of               Penn               school               and               out               of               those               numbers               10,               394               are               under               graduate               students               and               10,809               are               Graduate/Professional               Students.

For               those               undergraduate               students               that               were               admitted               the               number               tells               us               that               only               3,               841               applicants               out               of               26,               941               were               admitted               to               the               Class               of               2014.

Those               students               were               in               the               top               10               percent               of               their               graduating               class               and               scored               an               average               on               the               SAT               of               1,440.

Only               a               total               number               of               411               International               students               were               accepted               into               the               school               out               of               a               total               number               of               4,390               applicants.

The               International               students               were               accepted               from               all               over               the               world.
               The               University               is               a               diverse               campus               which               consists               of               39.6               percent               being               Black,               Hispanic,               Asian,               or               Native               American               and               over               half               of               all               students               being               women.

               Cabrini               College               is               a               coeducational               catholic               college               that               accepts               people               of               all               races               and               backgrounds.

It               is               located               in               Radnor               PA,               not               far               from               Philadelphia               PA.

They               are               a               well               rounded               college               that               has               a               lot               to               offer               students.

They               provide               programs               in               Undergraduate               and               Graduate               studies               as               well               as               30               majors.

They               were               recognized               for               having               high               engagement               in               active               and               collaborative               learning,               student-faculty               interaction,               giving               an               enriching               learning               experience,               and               for               having               a               supportive               campus               environment               for               the               students.
